Decisions, Decisions...

Sitting here, as I eat my bowl of oatmeal (with strawberries added), I can't help but wonder if it's worth it!  Let me start again...Yesterday, I actively took control of my workout regimen (I'm not counting Yoga) and ran 1 1/2 miles on the treadmill and bicycled 3 1/2 miles.  As I rocked out to Beth Hart in my headphones, I thought to myself, "Is this really worth it?!"  Ugh, I guess I came to the conclusion it was, but dangit! I hate working out when it feels like working out!  You know what I'd really like to do to get in shape? Nah, not that, get your minds out of the gutter!  What I'd really like to do is take an adult tumbling class.

I was in killer shape in HS and I give all my props to tumbling my ass off.  It was fun, didn't feel like work, and I was in a size 0.  Life was good.  Now, I know I am not fat, not even big, but I really want to feel good about myself.  Hence the oatmeal eating.  I hate oatmeal.  Got burnt out on it as a child.  Oh well, new day-new attitude.
Doesn't taste half bad!

I can't wait to bust out my REAL bicycle and start riding.  Last year I bought a vintage Schwinn  and even had a basket installed.  Pretty sweet ride if you ask me! I just have to polish the handle bars and make 'em shiny.  Kind of like this one except with a prettier seat! (Oh, and a basket on the front!!!)

So, I am contemplating growing my hair out.  This challenge will be difficult, but I am asking for blogging support! I want long hair!  Might take me over a year, but this is my new (maybe) goal along with being physically fit.
Reasons to grow long hair:
* Easy to do so many cool things with
* Love braids!
* Ponytails for convenience
* Curl it or leave it straight (it's naturally straight anyway)

Reasons to leave hair short:
* Takes 1 minute to blow dry
* Can take a 5 minute shower (minus shaving legs day)
* Kind of cute pixie thing goin' on

(Kind of exactly what I have now)

  1. I usually like the looks of longer hair on girls more, but I love to play with shorter hair! Everytime I've dated a girl with short hair, I have not been able to keep my hands off of it. I just really like to mess it all up. Because it's short, so it can't exactly be messed up. It pretty much always looks good!

    Mine is the longest it has been in a while. I'm down to past my shoulders somewhere now. It's naturally curly too. But I'm bored of it. I'm considering a cut.

  2. cut it! <--- Just Another.

    I'm biased though. I love the short hair look. it' sexy as hell. ;) long hair is cool too but nothing like an edgy (or not) crop to make me stop and stare. then promptly stalk.

  3. Haha you're a hoot, nerd girl, but you hit the nail on the head with why I like short!
    Just Another, I think if you go short, do it in phases, I see so many ppl in the salon regret going short short. It's a bitch to grow out too! But I love the convenience of short hair and I love my hair played with. It feels different than with long hair.

  4. Oh, I've already done short, short. When I was 17-18, I had my hair so short I could spike it. It was fun for a while, but I got bored of it and grew it back out. It was a bitch to do. Especially with having curly hair like mine. I had to suffer through an extremely awkward phase. If I did cut it, it would be shorter, but not short short. Because, of course, the problem with having curls is that once you go so short, you are forced to straighten it every day and I just don't have the patience for that. Plus, my curls are kind of my trademark. Girls love the curls!
